I have been very fortunate that this plot of land has coincided with a property that I own just going up for rent. I have been doing some work on the property, putting a new window in and some other improvements, so I have not had any tenants in the property for a while.
The property has a nice Veg and fruit garden, from which I have taken the Rhubarb as this is something that I have been tending for many years and is very nice and established.
I have dug it up with as much of the tubers and root ball as I can, from my reading, it appears that a good frost into the roots of the rhubarb can do it good, so I am happy to leave it until I get time to plant it at the allotment.
When I do I will be splitting it, and giving it a little more space that it had. I suspect that this year it wont do as well as it would have done, but hopefully it will like its new location.
Look out for my plans when you will see where Ihave decided to put the Rhubarb and possibly other soft friut bushes.
