Eva has been very poorly so we have been in hospital. I have been unable to blog. Some of the posts that I will be adding over the next few days I will restrospectively post, so their published dates maybe in the past. Eva on the mend now and back home.

Creating the fruit cage was a simple task for me, the framework had already been created by the previous owner of the plot. A sturdy steel pole arrangement which has made the ideal fruit cage. I bought some netting from Homebase with a mesh size of 20×20 mm and then wrapped it round the frame. [...]

The weekend just gone was the first day back on the allotment following our holiday and Evas birthday. The progress on the allotment is very exciting. The microphone that I bought on Ebay, will not work with my Camera. There is nothing wrong with the microphone, it is a perfectly standard radio mic. A little tip that I have learned, rather than buying the commercial plant labels, simply cut them out of plastic food containers such as marg tubs or take-away containers. Here is a video to show you how.

I have just taken Eva down to see the allotment, still covered in snow! I took some pictures on my mobile phone. I hope to re-visit tomorrow to get some better ones with camera, and to measure up the plot so that I can start planning.
